The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those that are bound. Isaiah 61:1

Dr. Corey Hinton is an ordained Elder, revivalist, conference speaker, leadership strategist, author, mentor, and transformational preacher with more than two decades of ministry experience. A passionate communicator of the Gospel, he is widely recognized for delivering biblically sound, prophetic, and practical messages that challenge believers to grow in spiritual maturity while equipping leaders to fulfill their God-given purpose.
Like the prophet Jeremiah, Dr. Hinton believes his calling was established before he entered the world. From an early age, God placed His hand upon his life, cultivating a passion for preaching, leadership, and serving others. His ministry assignment is centered on proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, restoring holiness to the Body of Christ, developing effective leaders, and inspiring individuals to pursue lives marked by faith, purpose, and excellence.
Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Hinton began ministering publicly at just ten years old. Throughout his youth, he was invited to speak at regional and national youth conventions, where his gift for communicating God’s Word became evident. What seemed like opportunities to encourage young people would later prove to be God’s preparation for a lifetime of Kingdom service.
In addition to his ministry calling, Dr. Hinton proudly served in the United States Navy as an Operations Specialist, where he attained the rank of Second Class Petty Officer. His military experience strengthened his commitment to servant leadership, discipline, integrity, and excellence—qualities that continue to define both his ministry and professional leadership.
Raised in a musical family, Dr. Hinton also served faithfully as a church musician and organist. He ministered alongside several renowned gospel artists, including the late Bishop Jeff Banks & The Revival Temple Mass Choir of Newark, New Jersey, and Dr. Patrick Lundy & The Ministers of Music of Washington, D.C. He has also appeared on the nationally acclaimed Bobby Jones Gospel television program.
After years of serving faithfully in music ministry, Dr. Hinton fully embraced God’s call to preach in 2004. While attending Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, he joined Citadel of Hope Evangelistic Church of God in Christ, where he was licensed into ministry in 2005 by the late Superintendent Nathan L. Simmons. His ministerial journey has been shaped through the mentorship and spiritual covering of respected Kingdom leaders, including Bishop Alfred A. Owens, the late Superintendent Nathan L. Simmons, and Bishop Anthony W. Gilyard. He most recently served as Executive Pastor of Another Chance Church in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Hinton has become a highly sought-after preacher, teacher, revivalist, and conference speaker whose ministry is characterized by biblical depth, prophetic insight, practical application, and genuine compassion. His messages consistently encourage believers to deepen their relationship with Christ while empowering them to live victoriously through the power of the Holy Spirit.
A passionate advocate for outreach ministry, Dr. Hinton has dedicated countless hours to serving communities through evangelism, youth development, prison ministry, homeless outreach, men’s discipleship, and leadership development. He believes ministry extends beyond the four walls of the church and is demonstrated through service, compassion, and meeting people where they are. His unwavering commitment to building God’s Kingdom continues to impact lives across generations.
Professionally, Dr. Hinton serves as the Global Director of Accounts Receivable & Billing Operations for eXp Realty, where he provides executive leadership for global financial operations and oversees high-performing teams across multiple countries. His ability to successfully integrate servant leadership with executive business strategy has established him as a respected leader in both corporate and ministry settings.
Dr. Hinton earned a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with a specialization in Criminal Justice.
